make sure the alternator belt is tight.

i just want to confirm the sluggishness only started with the tune-up or was it there before the tune-up?

maybe when you fueled up you got some bad gas.

Once you change fuel octane it may run sluggish because the car is used to running at a better octane to run more efficient. go back to 93 and see if that may change it back to normal (note that it may take your car a few runs to get back to normal)

Hi,
10w-40 is a good oil.
If your Mercedes has a lot of wear on the engine 15w-40 will stay in a while longer.
Enjoy,

1999 Eldorodo etc. Only when it is hot outside (over 75 degrees) and idleing in drive does the red oil lamp in the dash light up. I am using 10w30 oil.

The oil lamp indicates low oil.If you have checked the oil several times and it is fine, the sensor may be failing,or there is a loose connection in the system. When cars start aging, you should use a slightly thicker oil too.10W-40 is fine.I have a 1995 which suggests 5W-30 and I use 10W-40.Your issue is pretty unusual too.Call your mechanic and ask his opinion too.The 10W-30 switch is nothing urgent though.Just do it at your next oil change.Good luck!

Hello. Thanks for choosing Fixya! Begin by changing the fuel filter and the air filter. If that doesn't solve your problem take your Nissan to any autoparts store or shop that can put it on a scanner to see what other issues the car has. THanks for choosing fixya! Regards, Joe

What needs to be done at 100,000km service for Honda crv 1999

What I would do, if you haven't, yet is do a total tune up. Change the oil, oil filter, PCV valve, air filter, spark plugs and spark plug wires, timing belt, distributor, and recently I heard that adjusting the valves at that (100,000) point will also prolong the engines life, the timing belt and valve adjustments seem to be the hardest to do. This is what i did to my 1999 honda cr-v except the valve adjustment, Im not good enough to mess with that on my own. Doing it myself turned out pretty cheap, and easy, just time consuming. good luck!

Need timing belt marks for a 1995 subrau impreza 1.8

they are the notches on the timing gears and they line up with the notches on the black timing covers back. it is a single over head cam? the middle ( crank) is straight up. they are very noticeable you well know when you see them! good luck.
