Is the Check Engine light on? If it is, what is the code when scanned?

Problem could be fuel delivery issue, possible clogged fuel filter or a bad fuel pump. Another possibility is a clogged catalytic converter.

have you checked to see if engine is firing? ignition module can go bad and you would loose fire and fuel at the same time. i replaced one on a chevy truck last week and it was located beside the ignition coil.

It is gas related because it started. Check the fuel pump, pump fuse, relay, or reset button. Check your fuel filter. Make sure your gas lines are good and check your fuel injectors. Your problem is with the fuel, so you shouldn't have to worry about anything else, just the fuel components. Your engine is not getting gas. Check all these things and you will find your problem.

for sure get under truck with someone else inside with a rubber hammer or a block of wood hit the tank in the center and ask the person to crank the engine if it starts yes fuel pump time this is quite often the problem if it doesnt work start new fuses first then fire at the plugs injectors and so on but almost sure 95% fuel pump as well change fuel filter or you may have bad gas but it ran good before and nobody put sugar in the tank

NOT GETTING ANY GAS TO ENGINE

It's either the fuel pump or your engine control unit. Try hot wiring the pump and see if it works. If it does you need a new brain.

Engine not getting fuel

your fuel pump needs to be replaced. i had the same problem but i had a full tank of gas in it. so the easiest thing for me to do was to pull back the carpet and cut a hole. instead of dealing with the weight of the 36 gallons. they tend to go every 100,000-150,000
