Question about 1992 Honda Accord
For the second time my husband is trying to replace my harmonic balancer on my car? Why does it keep coming loose? 2nd this time he says that he cannot get it to go on all the way. How can we get the job done right the first time? And keep it from coming loose and us having problems with it again. Is there another problem we should be looking for. Please help!
Hello, I dont mean to be the bearer of bad news but I have had three of these cars to do the same exact thing. The harmonic balance loosened up and it wore the end of the crankshaft and the balancer would not tighten up any more. The best option is to replace the crankshaft and balancer. There is not a quick fix fix this. Sorry. Please rate my answer. Thank you.
