Question about 2002 Chrysler Sebring
I have a 2002 chrysler sebring sedan 2.4l the check eginge light came on bout a week ago after doin the test i get code p1684 some sites say its nothin but sayin battery has been disconnected in last 50 turnons another site said oil sensor? do i need to take it in to clear code so light will go off? also when i am stopped completely the car seems to putter? dont know what to call it exactly but when it does this the rpms do not change car drives very well????
Check, tighten & clean all battery connections & Have your battery tested.Load tested. Usually a weak, or defective battery will cause this code to come up also. While they're at it, have them test charging system. My guess is autozone will check it free or cheap, if you buy the new battery there if required. Have you noticed it turning over maybe a little slower when starting occassionally?
