start '90 lexus and will run as long as I press accelerator,let off and it floods and dies. jwalter1@bellsouth.net , Smell gas & then won't start.

may need new idle air control valve located in front of intake manifold. Possible to remove and clean, its worth a try.

H2O SENSOR OR TROTTLE BODY BAD

SMELL LIKE GAS could be the O2sensor

holding your feet on the gas keeps the trottlebody open mite be the trottlebodysensor
