no heat but it blows great. thermostat has been replaced. I think it's in the wiring because there are alot of wires under the dash that have been cut and left hanging.

Did you burp the air out of the cooling system? That needs to be done if you haven't - air will trap the thermostat and keep it from opening. Check my tips and tricks for how to do this.

I replaced my water pump and thermostat and the tempature gage censor but my 95 camaro over heats when it idles but not when i drive it

Check to see if you have an electric fan on your radiator or a fan that is mounted to the engine and turns off the the pulley system. If you have an electric fan, when the car heats up at idle, turn you AC on and see if the electric fan comes on. If it does then you have a sensor bad. You have 2 sensors one tells the guage what to register and the other one tells the electric fan when to come on. If you have a fan mounted to the engine then the clutch part of the fan is probably bad. Yopu can buy this seperate and don't have to buy the whole assembly. Most of the v-8's have fans mounted to the motor and most of the v-6's have electric fans but I have seen some with electric fans only. Please let me know if this helped, I am curious to hear the outcome.

Heater is blowing but no heat

First check for low Anti-freeze, then you can squeeze the in-let line prior to the thermostat. It should be hard, when engine is cold. It is good to do this with the radiator cap off since you can watch for water movement while preforming this task, but if it is allowing the water to go through the thermostat; then it is staying wide open. It then will need to be replaced. Your heat should come back at that point.

How to change plugs on 1995 camaro

It would be to hard to tell and show you over the computer.
The best way for you is to buy a Chilton manual for your car at the autoparts store. The book runs about $20
This book is a do-it-yourself bible. It will show you everything you need to know on how to do maintenance and repair on your vehicle.

check ebay for a genuine GM service manual.

this should work, ask the seller to make sure it covers transmission rebuild. (it should)

No heat

Dear pcolaboy19,

If the heater fan is working just not blowing hot air it's probably the thermostat which you can buy at any auto parts store.

I like Advanced Auto Parts because they will usually point out to you where the thermostat is (it's not that hard to fix) and they'll usually test it for you when you get it out to make sure that it's not working in which case you will get cold air blowing but no heat!

The part should be around $20.

A Mechanic should only charge around $100 but may try to sell you other repairs to help keep their shop running profitably!

Hope This Helps!
