Question about 2004 Mazda 3
The AT light on my dashboard goes on and off intermittently. When it is on, the car makes a very rough transition into reverse, and does nothing when i put it in "manual mode". I was told at a Mazda dealership that they do not know what the problem is, but they charged me 100 dollars and suggested i replace the solenoid valve for $1,200. What the ?!??
The solenoid valve deals with emissions. ? strange. I'd say it may be an issue with the turbine speed sensor on the transmission. Does it have enough fluid?
