I need to replace my outside mirror caps, and would like to find some instructions on the net . . . anyone have any ideas?
I'm also experiencing a problem with the 'flasher' the part, which makes the blinker noise in the dash. When the blinker isn't on, it makes the noise. Usually this occurs after signaling a turn and the blinker goes off. It isn't constant, and usually sounds the noise quickly like it would if a bulb is blown, no bulb issues though.
What is a mirror cap?

the relay is going bad. its freezing up. this will sometimes happen when it gets stuck in the on position.

There was a recall for this type of problem. I had the same problem and changed the signal flasher, and switch, and still had the problem. Having the dealership address the recall issue fixed the problem for me.

Hi Bill,I think before replacing anything else you should give that hazard switch a good workout.The switch doesn't get get used very often and the contacts get corroded and can upset the indicators.Good Luck.
