No.The last time it cut off on me while I was in the middle of the road, and I got over to the side of the road.I had to wait about an hour or two before it would start back up....

Might sound stupid, but how would i do a code check and what is it for????and also what do you mean by post....

But see now its doesn't even get hot no more I guess....My next door neighbor told me it was the cran shaft sensor however you say it or spell it...but I got him to put it in.The car started up I let it run for about an hour and it didn't cut off I even drove it and it didn't cut off...So this morning I went to go start up the car and it would cut on for a second, before it cut off the car would shake and then cut off...I kept trying to cut it on but i guess it act like it didn't want to turn over...

Do a code check and see what you come up with from your post, I can't even give you a good guess!!

Code check is when you have someone put a scanner on it and read computer fault codes. "post" is what you wrote. Crank sensor would be my guess too but with jeep computer systems every good guess is usually wrong!(ignition coil will "break down the same way"

probable a bad engine control computer if there is no code. could also be bad crankshaft positioning sensor, or camshaft positioning sensor.

If you have zero oil pressure thats a BAD sign, first have a mechanic check what the engines actual oil pressures are.

Sounds a whole lot like a dirty or malfuncitionig idle air control valve. A coil would generally show up as a miss under load or high rpm, crank sensors generally work or they dont, only sometimes giving you a miss, but that would be all the time at any rpm. Computer, I doubt for too many reasons to list. Could also be related to a bad throttle position sensor or a very slight vacuum leak.

Have either one of you tried a CAMSHAFT sensor? If not I would say that would be your best bet. A lot of mechanics overlook this part because it is built in to the distributer and they don't understand how vital this part is. Oh and don't let them charge you for the whole distributor assembly either. Just go to the local delership and grab one yourself. Hope this helps!

Truck just cuts off while driving

It could very well be the MAP sensor. I believe it is on the fire wall of the '99s . unplug it and see if thet doesn't help. If it does, then replace the sensor. (MAP sensor will have a vacuume hose and a small plug in attached).

The mass airflow meter could be the culprit as well.

Are you getting any codes?
