You need to pull the dash and check the guages look for any burning or melting. You may just need to replace the pannel in your dash, pretty easy work. If not start checking the wires and cables that come out of your faulty guages.

when you pulled the top of the dash off did you check the cable connection to the insturment cluster. i had a similar problem where my gauges died individually including the spedo and tach. slapping the dash usually would cause the gauges to start working again, but that quit also and i had to tear the cluster out and check the conneciton. that fixed the problem.
Remove lead from temp sender on engine and ground lead, watch gauge for kneedle movement if it moves to register then remove and replace temp sender unit, if not check power supply to gauge, and related fuses and or grounds...
erique000, on Feb 06, 2009 you posted a comment about your odometer and gas gauge stopped working. Did you ever find the problem. I have a 2001 sl1 and the same thing occured but also the rpm gauge and the speedometer registered nothing. They all just sit at e or 0. Approx 20 miles later the car died. It will still turn over, but won't start. If you have a chance, please respond to email@example.com
