    misfires

Runs rough, misfiring - changed spark plugs recently but there is not a fuel leak. The fuel gauge is accurate.

You say you changed the cam sensor. A1391 code is a crank sensor on the top of the trans. bell housing.

I have replaced the above items along with a new starter. The last items installed were the coil pack and spark plugs now it won't start at all. Before it was sluggish, would randomly shut off while driving, and the service engine light would flash when reaching speed of 65mph.

I have a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I am getting a bad crank shaft sensor/misfire error code. I have replaced the crank shaft sensor, spark plugs and coil but the problem stiil remains. What else could...

Your engine will also have a Camshaft position sensor too (P0340). This can sometimes make the Crankshaft sensor code come on (P0335). Your misfire could be down to a low oil level or faulty knock sensor. You have ruled out the possibility of it being a spark related issue. Hope this helps...

Check engine Light won't come on crank but no start

A common problem with this type of condition is the crank shaft position sensor. A defective sensor will not allow the engine to run.

The jeep starts misfiring at 40 mph and the check

Hello,
I was having the same problem with my Jeep.... I tried everything and nothing worked... Finally I changed the Crank senor and my problem was solved. You must get this part from the dealer (OEM) in order for your problem to be solved. AutoZone or aftermarket parts will not work...

2002 jeep grand cherokee with 4.0 engine will die but restart

I do not know what the error codes mean but know that When I has the sme problem with my jeep it was the fuel pump. What happens is when it heats up it es less and less fuel and chokes the engine. When cold it runs better. remember gas in the tank helps cool the pump but sounds like your pump needs replacing as it is starting to give out.
