Question about 1992 Honda Accord
The passenger side seems to work ok. Hope there is something simple to do, as I am a 63 year old woman. thanks
Unfortunately - short of checking for a blown fuse, this is going to be a hard troubleshoot for you.
Once you verify the fuse is OK, you have to remove the door skin, and check (with a multimeter) there are +12V at the motor when you actuate the door switch.
Verify both directions.
If there is no voltage - the switch is faulty.
If there is voltage - the motor is faulty.
An independant repair shop will charge approx $40 labor to find the problem for you.
Replacement parts can be had online at such places as eBay for a fraction of the retail price.
Thanks for using FixYa - a FixYa rating is appreciated!!

If the motor makes noise when you push the switch and the window does not go down then the regulator is broken. That is a mechanical problem and not an electrical problem and can be replaced by an auto glass company.
