Jingling sound from front of engine

Don't worry about the sound, Find the gas leak. Fuel lines come in on the drivers side. Then you have the injectors. on the fuel rail. on the fuel rail there is a pressure regulator. All this needs checked. Fuel lines on the engine are metal. BUT coming up to the metal lines, they are plastic. LOOK for wet spots.. FIX them. The regulator is on the fuel rail/ with the injectors. LOOK for wet spot at these locations also... There are also other locations under the car to find gas leaks....Fix this first...

Car not starting

The below will only be relevant if the engine ran properly before you changed the fuel line, so making an assumption on that. Not sure what you mean by "won't start fully". After replacing a fuel line, it could take a while for all the air to be purged from the fuel line. If this means the engine will fire, but stumbles and misses, and you are sure you have purged all the air from the fuel line, then you may have introduced contamination into the fuel system when you changed the fuel lines. If there is a fuel filter downstream of where you replaced the fuel lines, try replacing the fuel filter. If there is no filter downstream of the replaced fuel line, then the fuel injector could have caught the contamination. That scenario will be very time consuming to fix...R&R fuel injectors.

Gas leak in engine compartment.

Without looking at it, If there is raw fuel anywhere up top this is what i would do:
1. check rubber fuel lines on the intake. easy fix if leaking
2. check or replace the fuel injector o-rings they are $3.00 per set easy fix.
3. check cold start injector for fuel leak also easy fix

If no fuel leaks can be found in lines i would go straight for the injector seals but in noway would i let this stop me from buying the car if thats all thats wrong. even if an injector is cracked it is under $80.00 fix. here is a link showing the injector and o-ring position http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/search/Fuel+Injector/02521/C0024.oap?model=Legacy&vi=1269996&year=1997&make=Subaru

YEP REMOVE TOP ENGINE COVER AND DISCONNECT INJECTORS ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR,REMOVE FUEL RETURN LINE FROM INJECTOR, REMOVE FUEL INJECTOR HIGH PRESSURE LINE, REMOVE FUEL INJECTOR RETAINER AND RETAINING BOLT,THEN REMOVE FUEL INJECTOR FROM THE CYLINDER HEAD. YOU NEED A FUEL INJECTOR EXTRACTOR TOOL 9075A ON TO INJECTOR AND CYLINDER HEAD.YOU DONT HAVE TO REMOVE THE ENGINE.

How do you install injectors in a chevy s-10 pick-up?

Removal & Installation

Take care when servicing the fuel rail assembly to prevent dirt or contaminants from entering the fuel system. ALL openings in the fuel lines and passages should be capped or plugged while disconnected.
  1. Before disassembly, clean the fuel rail assembly with a spray type cleaner such as AC Delco® X-30A, or equivalent. After removal, DO NOT immerse the fuel rail in liquid solvent.
  2. Properly relieve the fuel system pressure and disconnect the negative battery cable.
  3. Remove the air intake duct, as necessary for access.
  4. Tag and disengage the fuel injector electrical connectors.
  5. Disengage the fuel pressure regulator vacuum line, then tag and disengage all other necessary vacuum hoses.
  6. Loosen and remove the fuel rail retaining bolts.
  7. If necessary to remove the fuel rail assembly completely from the engine compartment, or to prevent stressing and damaging the fuel lines, disconnect the fuel lines from the rail assembly.
  8. Carefully lift the fuel rail assembly and fuel injectors from the intake.
  9. Carefully release and separate the fuel injectors from the rail assembly.
  10. Remove and discard ALL old O-rings from the fuel injectors and, if disconnected, the fuel lines.
To install:
  1. Lightly coat the new O-rings with clean engine oil, then position them to the injectors and, if applicable, fuel fittings.
  2. Install the injectors to the fuel rail assembly.
  3. Carefully install the fuel rail and injectors to the intake manifold. Make sure the injectors are properly seated in their bores, but DO NOT force them into position.
  4. Install and tighten the rail retaining bolts to 62 inch lbs. (7 Nm).
  5. If removed, connect the fuel lines to the rail assembly and secure the fittings.
  6. Engage the fuel pressure regulator and any other vacuum lines, as noted during removal.
  7. Engage the injector electrical connectors.
  8. Connect the negative battery cable and cycle the ignition switch (without attempting to start the engine) in order to pressurize the fuel system, then check for leaks.
  9. Install the air intake duct.

My 2001 chevy blazer (v-6, 4.3L)., has a fuel injector problem and I would like to know how to repair the number 5 injector.

You will need to remove the fuel rail bolted to the intake manifold. There maybe a clip holding on the injector. Spraying some WD-40 on the ends of the injectors to aid removal, also when installing, spray some on the O-rings, will help in installing them. Make sure all are seated.

Here do I fix the eps magnets on the fuel line

The Magnets don't work, and they have a negative effect on the fuel line. The magnetic field promote corrosion on the fuel line, the best saving device is a light foot and maintenance. Replacing the fuel and air filters and keeping the MAF sensor and Throttle body cleaned will be the best thing you can do. Good luck

No fuel pressure in injectors

If the fuel preessure reg. is on the fuel rail after the injectors before the return line and is clogged fuel pressure will be higher than specs.but will be in the fuel rail.If reg. is before the injectors(as in at the beginning of the fuel rail) and it is clogged then there probably wont be any fuel in the line. I beleive the injectors may be the point of concern.Check the injector fuses first.

Have a fuel leak under front of car

I would trace fuel lines from tank to fuel rail on motor. These are high pressure lines so do not try to quick-fix them. You will have to measure the lines and replace them if they are leaking. Unless the fuel is leaking from lines by fuel rail or by fuel filter.

How do i fix a fuel leak at top of injector on 7.3l 1992 f250?

Either your lines arent pressuring up and its pushing fuel back out the injectors or the o-rings on the injectors are bad. I had the same problem...I replaced the o-rings and it fixed it!
