I just had the same problem and i read on here tonight that if you switch the relY #45 with #46 they work. sent my husband out to see so i could go to work tomorrow and it did. so switch the relays and you should have lights again

Make sure and keep an extra relay in your glovebox, Chevy does not have a permanent fix for this yet on the recall. In a pinch, switching the relays work, but keep an eye on your temperature as it activates your fan.

Lowbeam headlights wont work, brake lights are out and check engine light is on...changed th dimmer switch, no luck

For the low beam problem, Swap relays 45 & 46 in the underhood fuse panel. Relay 46 is for the Low Beams. If that fixes the light, replace the relay that cam out of position 46.
Since the high mounted brake light is working, that indicates that the brake switch is good. You need to check the bulbs in the rear tail light assembly, if they are good, check fuse #34.

2004 trailblazer.. running lights go off while driving.. come back after allowing them to cool. Every thing else ok. (day time lights and brights) This just started and has done it twice this week..

If your lowbeam headlights are going out at the same time as your running lights, but the highbeams are working fine, you should check the relay, which is in the fuse block under the hood. The relay is marked "HDM." You can swap it with the relay next to it to eliminate or prove it as a problem. Make sure the key is shut off when you are making the swap.

The filaments could break and then make a short term contact causing your right lamp to come back on.
Check the bulbs with an ohms meter first before searching for more difficulties.
