When i let seat back one track on seat does not move
Check for a obstruction could be something stopping it, if not wd40 the runner and also look under the seat and make sure both locking systems ae being released when you lift the handle

Look very careful inside the track and see if anything is interfering with the gear mechanism. It doesn't take much to lodge in there and cause the gear to lock up. If everything is clear, there is a cable that attaches the motor to the gear, that cable may be stretched or broken.

maybe you got pennies money stuck in the track if not you got 1 motor for that the motor goes in a assembly in there you have 2 cable a left and a right lock under the seat you probably got the right cale disconnect sometime there stuff that push under the seat and push that cable off if its that just push the cable back in let me know and please if you can take the time to rate this thank you pierre
p.s when you try to put the cable back in dont force to mush

Need to replace one of the two cables for forward and backwad. The tiny gear inside already worn out. However need to take out whole seat to do replacement.

There are plastic gears connecting the track to the seat assembly. Whne one of these strip the seat will only work or move to one side. Infiniti does not sell a simple fix. You are looking at buying an entire seat assembly complete with the module for all the electronics. It will be at a cost of around $950 - $1000. Once that is in, Infiniti must program the seat to the brain of the car, only then can you reset your memory settings.
