1994 Toyota pickup. It was left sitting for a year. Battery may be bad, but I put it on a 12 amp charger-booster. When I try and use the booster to start the engine, the dashboard buzzes and the engine...

Depends on how many amps the booster can supply. If the battery is completely dead then I'd imagine you need 150-200 amps to crank the engine ... probably way more than your booster has to offer.

1999 Chevy 3500 p.u. cranks, no-start 50 p.s.i. fuel pressure, runs on carb cleaner, intermittently starts and runs on its own. Changed crank sensor still won't run.

Sounds like a fuel problem. If it runs when you spray carb cleaner your "fuel" may not have enough octane. I suspect you could have 50psi with a high water content (or the wrong fuel i.e. gas vs diesel?)...Drain the fuel and replace with fresh fuel (gasoline or diesel depending which engine you have), along with a bottle of fuel conditioner.

it sounds like you need to replace your battery.jumping it to get it started will charge the battery especially if you are driving it around and will hold charge for a bit.but if truck is sitting all night then battery is just draining

Truck has been sitting for 2 years and im going to try and revive it. it is a 99 s10 with 70k and was running decent before it was left. where should i begin.

start by making sure it will crank ,check battery, remove all old fuel, pull the plugs and put marvel mystery oil in the cylinders, before you put plugs back in spin the motor over with plugs out and blow the oil out of the cylinders, yes it will make a mess, then put good fuel in and give it a shot

Non vat key starts but shuts down, after three tries, will not start at all. Must sit for hours before restart.

I'm assuming that the vehicle has an immobiliser system standard, and that the key has a chip in the head of it. The key itself could be intermittently faulty, or the pickup ring at the ignition barrel. The best option would be to get a new key cut and coded to the vehicle, and just try it. If the fault reoccurs, it's likely that it will be the pickup ring, but it probably needs further diagnosis at that point.
