Yes, depending on what specific components on your front end were damaged and in need of replacement the cost could easily be $500.

Vibration in 2015 Buick lax steering wheel @ 62 mph

Tire balance is the first place to look. If re-balancing the front tires has little effect on the vibration then look at a bent wheel or other suspension parts that may have happened if you hit a curb too hard or another road hazard.

Screeching sound when tires are turning

you most likely bent something in the front end suspension. the tires are out of camber. more than likely it will be the lower control arm, stabilizer, or outer tie rod ends

Mazda 3 steering problem. will not hold straigth line

Did you hit a pot hole, bang the curb, or replace any tires
recently? I've had new tires to cause pulling left or right
and imprecise steering. If the car pulls to one side, try
swapping the front tires and see if the problem follows
the tire. Make sure tires can rotate in both directions,
some only rotate one way. You may need an alignment,
or something wrong with the suspension. Either case
a repair shop has to deal with it.

The steering seems to wonder in low speeds especially when you hit a bump or the middle white line

Your front end alignment is out. It could be something as simple as a toe setting that needs adjusting. It could also be caused by worn or damaged front suspension parts. And, you can't rule out low tire pressure. One extremely low tire, esspecially if it is a rear tire will cause the car to wander. If the steering is pulling to the right or left, it could have a bad radial tire. If a radial tire goes bad, it loses it's grip, causing the car to pull toward the good tire. Unless it's on the rear, in which case you would not feel it pulling, rather it would be more like the rear was slipping or "fish-tailiang". If the problem came on suddenly, and you haven't hit any curbs or huge potholes, I would think it is a low tire. If you don't find a low tire, then you need to get to a front end alignment shop. Make sure they inspect the suspension for worn or damaged parts.

Approximate cost of alignment for 2007 MB C230 and is it needed, just replaced tires and has 69K.

Front wheel alignment $60-80. Four wheel? double. As far as needing it, shops will always try to say you need it. I go by how the old tires were wearing. Did it pull left or right? Did the tires wear evenly? Did they wear on the inside track? Then definately! If on the outside that's more normal but only so much. If your car drives straight and you never hit curbs or cement stops or big holes then you may be OK.

The front right tire hit the crub to avoid and accident it bent the sway bar which i replaced but the tire is at a angle and is wearing out the outside of the tire. what else would the problem be?

Your control arm or tie rods may be bent. If you hit a curb hard enough to bend the sway bar other things are probably bent also. Best bet is to take it to a front end shop and have it checked don't just start replacing parts. The car will need to be realigned when parts are replaced.

My 2001 saturn is making a thumping noise from the right front tire. It is not the tire. Thump.Thump.Thump, as the cars moves forward. there is no shaking, just thumping.

  1. Inspect your tire. Look for any bubbles or knots on the side of the tire. Look for any damage to the tread. A bubble or knot can mean that you hit a curb, pothole or another object on the road. Bubbles and knots can sometimes be repaired, but more often lead to the need for replacement of the tire.
  2. Think about what you were doing when you first noticed the tire noise. If you just hit a pothole or a curb, chances are you have a bubble on your tire and that it needs to be fixed or replaced. If you had recently spun out of control or had to make a forced turn quickly, you might have an alignment problem and the noise might not be a tire issue at all.
  3. Listen to the noise while you're driving. If it's a repeated thud on regular intervals, you likely have a severe knot problem on your tire. Take the car to a tire repair place as soon as possible. Tire knots may not appear serious at first but can be potentially dangerous.
If you have no others noise especially into turns (it would be a suspension problem, i.e., cv joints) then it is a tire issue.

Steering wheel turn to right, 1995 aerostar-extended

Something is wrong with the front end. Bring it in for a front end alignment (that could be all it needs) and have them check for problems with front end suspension components. There may be something that is worn out ( such as ball joints, or tie rod ends) that is causing the uneven tire wear. There may also be a problem from hitting a large pot hole, or curb, which bent something causing this. Tell the shop to NOT align the front end if they find that some components need to be replaced, as when something is replaced, you should have the front end aligned, and you don't want to have it done twice.
