How do you reset the anti-theft system on a 2000 chrysler concord

Put the key into either door lock or the trunk cylinder and turn the key to the fully unlock position and remove. This should turn off the alarm system. I don't know the methods can do for you or not, but you can have a try.

I need to replace the brake lights, how do the lenses, come off 2001 concorde

  • You don't remove any lenses or assemblies on this vehicle.

  1. Open the trunk.
  2. On the wall of the trunk sometimes the light sockets will be accessible without any further steps. Twist the socket to the left and pull the socket back exposing the bulb. Other times they may not be. At this point you will look for some butterfly nuts.
  3. Should there be some matting held down with butterfly nuts then follow the steps a little further.
  4. Remove the plastic nuts off of the surrounding area for the light you want to replace.
  5. Pull the matting back exposing the sockets.
  6. Twist the socket needed to replace and pull the socket out exposing the bulb.

Regards, Tony

VickiMy trunk does not stay open, does it need a fuse?

Nice Car...the trunk is supported by 2 rod/struts one on each side, attached to the rear car body, and the trunk...these struts wear out and the symptom is the trunk will not stay up by itself...these rod/struts are available at most Auto Parts Stores...or definitely on the internet...the best manufacturer if replacement hood and trunk struts is "Mighty Arm" available on the internet...prices vary by car make and model...pretty easy to change...a good Auto Parts person might help demonstrate the easy switch out...:)

How do I fix my Driver side Break light on a 1996 Chrysler Concord? Where can I download the owners manual for it too?

Open the trunk and fold back the trunk lining that is on the wall behind the brake light area. There might be some black large plastic srews holding the lining in place, if so remove the screws to expose the nuts that hold on your brake light assembly. Remove the nuts and pull out the brake light housing. The light socket usally has a tab you push in then turn the socket exposing the bulb then pull out the bulb out of the socket and replace.

Replace the engine motor mounts and the transmission mount. Would like to know how to do it. Thanks.

Check the frame mounts too. You will have to loosen the bolts and jack the motor up with a jack and a woodblock.

For the bulb removal follow these steps.
