Question about 1991 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera
My car won't turn, it was actually running when the key slot ( the barrel) got very stuck, I had to turn it off using a pair of pliers. I think its dirt deposits, so I expect to replace some parts. So its the key slot, the thing won't move unless I use pliers. help please
You have to pull the steering wheel off, (with a steering wheel puller/installer) loosen the signal light control, and remove the lock screw that hold the ignition tumbler in. It is probably a torx head screw, and it will have a long unthreaded part below the threads .
