My A/C light is "blinking", but are the possible reason(s) for the this to occur? It is the first time this Spring that I started to use the A/C that I noticed this. The A/C seems cool...just not cold.

The AC will not function if there is no freon in the system. Raise th hood, and locate a grey cap on a silver aluminum line. Unscrew the cap. You will see a small valve, like on a tire. Using a sharp instrument, like a nail, press on the center of the valve, slightly, and see if any gas pressure escapes. Please do not have your face over the valve, you could get the pressure in your eyes, use suitable eye protection. If no gas escapes, you either have a hole in the condensor, or a leaking o-ring on the tubing.

Air conditioner will not turn on but defrost comes on with hot air and can not be turned off.

Sounds like your blend door may be stuck or you could have a vacuum leak. If you're not comfortable working on it, take it to a reputable shop.

First make sure to check all air conditioning component. A basic a/c gauge and test light is needed to help diagnose most air conditioner problems. The fan is working, hot air comes out, but the cold air doesn't.What it's wrong with the air conditioner, and how much do you think it's gonna cost to fix it?

Have a shop which specializes in radiators and air conditioners figure out what is wrong with it and how much to fix it. Several components and connections in the system could be bad, impossible to even guess what is wrong with it just not working.

If the air conditioner blow warm air,

1. Open the hood and check the fan belt first, sometime the fan belt broke caused the compressor stop to work, if the fan belt is good, check the compressor see if the center part turns, if turns, that means the compressor is o.k.

2. If both work fine, check the air conditioner small window see if there is bubble, if you see some bubbles in the small round window, that’s means your air conditioner lack
R-22 Freon.

3. before you fill up the Freon, check the leaking, if leaks, fix it and then fill up the Freon, the best way is to ask some professional auto air conditioner repair shop to help you.

Hope this can help you.
