How do i tension belt
Belt has a spring loaded tensioner to keep belt tight, if spring is weak belt may slip. only way to fix is to replace tensioner.

SOURCE: the belt is loose and squealing
The belts are stretched! I have the same problem! You have to replace them, for I was told you cant tighten them, I drove mine for over 2 years like that!

If you are using a proper belt lube and it still squeals, you should look for something like a dragging component such as an alternator or power steering pump that may be defective.
