Question about 1999 Dodge Ram
I think it has to do with sending unit or maybe a fuse does anybody else have this problem
I have a 1999 dodge ram 1500 with the 318 in it for a motor, it started yesterday but when i went to fire it up today, nothing happend, i got spark and fuel and compersion and i checked all the fuses, does anyone know where to start

Can you hear your fuel pump, if not it maybe the pump, relay, or wiring. if thats not the case see if you have spark, if you dont have spark look at your crank sensor or it could be a coil pack, follow you plug wires from the plug to the packs see that all have spark. for your crank sensor you would have to buy a book to see where it is. if this isent the promblom test your presser in your fuel rail a low presser can make it not start. or it could be your timing chain, a good way to look to see if your timing chain has broke is take one of your valve covers off and have some one try to start the truck if the valves do not move thats your promblom if thay do thats not it but be careful a small amount of oil will squeert out of the rods that move the valves.
