How do you take off the front passanger door panel off of a 2001 mitubishi montero

You remove the philips screws on the outer part of the panel. then pull up the arm rest with fabric on it and remove the screw from there. pull up the window control panel by lifting off the connector. Use a flathead screwdriver to pop the panel off. unplug the door light connector and there you go.

you have to take off the door panel and look. most often the linkage comes off of the outside handle; sometimes something is broken. It will be a mystery no more when you remove the door panel and look.

Where is the starter located in a 2001 mitsubishi montero


The starter is located on the passanger side right next to the transmission,towards the passager seat under the vechile.

In order for you to be able to access it,you have to remove the skid plate to get to it.

Where is the computer located for a 2000 mitubishi montreo sport?


The computer is usually loacted inside the right front kick panel.
  • Other times they are located under the passenger seat.
  • Newer computers are designed to dissipate heat more quickly. Some of these are installed in the engine compartment.
  • To be safe, pull the computer fuse before unhooking its connectors

The back door wont open and I can't find a way

the rear door panel should be two pcs.the lower pc is held on by plastic clips, look for screws you can get to and remove such screws ,pull lower pc away from door for acess to latch assy-panel is hard plastic so damage is probable
