a socket set from size 6mm to at least 16mm and a ratchet honestly i think that is all that is required. the small socket size will be for disconecting wires. the bigger size socket will be used to take the mounting bolts off. you might need a philips head screw driver or a flat head screw driver I am not entirely sure because almost every veicle is different but some sockets a ratchet and maby a screw driver should be all you need. i hope this helps and if it doesnt i am sorry. be carefull and have a nice day!
The starter is located between the engine and the firewall. Behind the engine. The easy way to get to it is by going underneath the car. Make sure you do this safely using jack stands and wheel blocks. The starter is bolted to the transmission housing.
the axle nut should be a 36mm
will also need a 17mm to remove three bolts holding ball joint to control arm and a pry bar to pop axle out of transmission. if replacing right side will need tounhook support bearing
