Question about 2005 Chevrolet Impala
Hello, It sounds as if you are having ignition switch problems on your Impala. The tow truck driver is correct, Gm has had a problem with keys but that is because the theft deterent system is looking for a particular shaped key(original-new shaped) key and if your key is worn then you can go to the dealer with your title or bill of sale, or etc, and get new keys made. In the mean time, If it do this again turn the switch off, turn it back to start, and then leave on for ten minutes. This will relearn the key but when you get the new key you wil have to do this again with the relearn.
