Check Fuses and Relays, but this has a GEM (general electronics module). You may need and auto-electrician as nothing covers brake lights, but that may be a fault with the brake light switch.
Use a test light, test for power and ground at the bulb contacts. Then test for power and ground at the wires. Probably needs a new socket, common problem.
Hi, the switch runs on fuse 17 inside the car. If the fuse is good, the likely problem is the brake switch above the pedal. You can verify this by pulling the connectors off the switch and connecting the terminals manually with a large paper clip to turn the lights on. If that works, replace the switch.

It's normally located right at brake pedal arm, up toward top where it pivots. You'll see a switch with a plunger that gets pushed in when pedal is released. Usually pretty easy to do, but you have to stand on your head sometimes to do it. ha-ha
