Question about 1998 Mercury Tracer
Hello,I imported my MERCURY TRACER personnal car from Middle east to Brussels and I cannot find any spare parts here in Europe. The model is 1998, 4 door - sedan, 4 cylinder, 110 hp, 2.0 L motor, automatic.
My car have a problem now and probably needs one of these parts :
- cylinder head gasket
- cylinder head
and perhaps also a... motor unit.
Please, can you tell me where to find these parts in EUROPE, or -if not possible- how much would be the shipping costs from USA to Belgium, Europe.Thank you very much, Barrack Rima
Ford, being a global company, has numerous parts common to cars built in different countries.
Check with a Ford dealer to see if your engine really is a 'Made in USA' or a product of Ford Koeln (Cologne) in Germany.
Many of the Ford engines were originally designed (and some built) in Germany or England.
