Question about 2005 Chrysler Town & Country
I have a malfuction indicator light that just came on and stays on. The manual says it could be a bad gas cap or bad gas. I have driven over 160 miles since I last got gas about a week ago and the light just came on now. I would like to find out if there is a way for me to check to find out if there are any trouble codes stored in the computer without having a scanner tool. Has anyone else had occasion to check codes on this vehicle?
Turn the ignition key from accessory to on and back 3 to 4 times in a row.(do not start ) codes will show up on the odometer display

I don't believe there is a way to got the codes out of the Town and Country without a scan tool, but most auto parts stores will scan your vehicle for free with the hope that you will buy the parts from them. i would give that a shot
