Check the throttle linkage make sure nothing is broke also check your throttle body and make sure nothing is stuck. If those check out then check out the pedal itself and make sure that the shaft is pulling the throttle cable the way it is supposed to and no throttle wires are stretched

2010 sv6 Holden commodore wagon. 52000 kms flashing engine light came on. Idol and runs due for a service soon.. Before I got fuel car was running fine. 20 mins after loss of power stalled.

sounds like you got bad gas (water or some other foreign fluid mixed into) from your fill station. also could just be an old fuel filter desperately in need of being replaced

My car runs great but to get it to go you have to feather the gas pedal to take off after its going it runs fine how do i fix it

You may have hook it up to computer diagnostics, reset timing. Spark plug gap also important.

I have to keep pumping the gas pedal to keep the engine running, it acts like it is starveing for fuel.then after it warms up a bit it will run at an idol. then when i step on the gas pedal it boggs down...

2 things to try-
first- change fuel filter(maybe this- is cheap)

second-more likely given what you said- partial melted catalytic converter-
when it warms up- passage expands enough to let it run a little

Engine light comes on and then it just idols gas peddle does not excelerate on a 2000 F350 7.3 liter diesel

The Check engine light is the first place to start. UNFORTNUATLEY the code readers that the A/P stores have for sale and use won't read Powerstroke specific codes. You need to take it to a shop that uses a code reader that will or the Ford Dealer. Just a guess, but if your truck has the "flly by wire" throttle pedal ( no cable), then I would suspect the throttle pedal validation sensor. There is a known issue for a "dead spot" in the sensor in the go pedal assembly.

I have a f250 extended cab 4 wheel drive auto transmission truck with a 7.5L power stroke engine. It starts fine, but after about 10 min. it quits like someone turned off the key. After 5 min. or so, it...

Diesel engines are super finicky about clean fuel. Speaking of that I'm going to assume when you said "gas" you meant diesel fuel, gas is really bad for diesel engines. Is it possible someone mis-fueled it. The other thing that will make a diesel not want to start is air in the fuel, or water contamination. It is possible to draw air in with out having fuel leak out. The most common place for this is at the filter. Has there been any recent service work done? Is it possible the the cap on the fuel filter is not all the way tight or the o-ring seal is torn. Since it ran fine before and there was no catastrophic noises I am going to be looking for a fuel delivery or fuel contamination. Another posibility is are you using a biodiesel? This stuff does not like cold weather, in fact if you are somwhere where it gets really cold, regular #2 diesel will gell at sub zero temps. It could be you got some bad fuel.
