It sounds like you need to check and replace your engine oil and oil filter. This will happen when it is cold and dirty and it takes time to get to the oil ports in the engine. I hope this helps. Don't forget to rate my answer. Thanks.

Occasionally when you first start the car the brake pedal will barely move and it is hard to stop the vehicle when rolling in the driveway, like the power brakes aren't working.

Power brakes are operated by engine vacuum. It sounds like you may have a leak in the power brake vacuum system, so when the engine isn't running, the vacuum leaks away, and you have no "power" in your power brakes. Once the engine is running, the vacuum is built up over several seconds, and you have power for braking again.

I would check the vacuum lines for cracking and the power brake module for vacuum leaks.

My 2003 x5 bmw 4.6is, makes a knocking noise in the Engine upon stating it up, but usually goes away after a few seconds.

Sounds like excess bearing clearance, when the engine sits overnight the oil between the bearings and the crankshaft is able to run back into the oil pan. When you first start it up it takes a few seconds for the oil pump to fill the spaces back up and you get some clatter.

My 2003 Saab 9-5 Aero 4-cyl Turbo Won't start. However, I have power in car, lights windows and radio works. But it won't turn-over. It could be Starter or Starter Relay. I can't find out

Ok, those systems might still work because the not require as much energy as the starter. Check the Battery Voltage with a good Voltmeter. If below 12, there might be your problem!

2003 saab 95 Aero - stalled...can't get it started

Fixed it myself. I checked power and ground on fuel pump, then w/rubber mallet I banged the fuel tank and the fuel pump went on for a few seconds while someone cranked car, it started for arou 20 -30 seconds. This helped me diagn. the problem and I put in a new fuel assembly.\

Fault with saab 9-3 aero

Hello I have a saab 9.3 SS 04 and had the same problem.

- intermittent wipe doesn't work, at all
- windscreen washers don't work, at all
- "normal" continuous, and fast wipe work, but the wipers
freeze in the middle of the windscreen if you let go of the
control stalk, rather than sweeping back to the resting position
- same "freeze" happens with the manual wipe (push down on the control stalk)

The weird thing is that, this morning, for about 10 minutes, it seemed to fix itself,
partially - the washers started working etc - but the intermittent wipe still didn't work. However not long after that it went back to the symptoms described above.
also if I unplugged my car battery for a minute the washers worked for several seconds but again same problem occurs.

Solution is to replace your wiper motor. its that "simple"
worked for me. The wiper motor has a lot of electronic stuff and seems to control the washer engine.
Good luck.
