Are 2002 GMC Envoy brake rotors turnable or just a one time use?

They are pretty thin when new, and most of the time cannot be turned. If they have any signs of wear I replace them. Hope this helps.

Please take a moment and rate my answers....... Thanks

How to take front rotor off of 2004 gmc sierra . I have caliper and rotor bracket off but still is tight.

if the caliper and bracket are off and all you have is your rotor get a sledge hammer and hit in between the bolts coming through the rotor, while you give it a smack turn the rotor and hit a different spot in between the lugs. also try spraying penetrating blaster this can help free it up. good luck

Our 02 Envoy has 133,000mi. The left rear rotor needs attention.

The number is die stamped on the rotor in thousandths such as 0.654 ( this is just an example of the # 's )

2002 GMC Denali`

If the rotor surface is smooth, then NO, you do not have to turn them.
If the rotor surface looks like someone has ran a heavy chisel around them, then YES.
I have found that a lot of auto parts and repair shops are not turning rotors or drums anymore because the cost of replacing them with a NEW part, in some circumstances, is not that much more money.
Do Yourself a favor and check out the price or a set of NEW rotors & pads at an auto parts store.

Personally, I rarely go to a dealership to get parts. I have found that most of the parts from a good auto parts store are just as good and sometimes better & cheaper than a dealer...
BUT! that is my opinion.
