Usually the switch at the door is dirty when this happens. It can be cleaned but is diffucult, time consuming and it's easy to loose a part. your best bet is to find one at a junk yard and replace it.

All power locks, mirror and windows on passenger side stopped working on six cylinder 1996 grand jeep cherokee ltd. Is there a seperate fuse for the left side and where is it located?

No there is not a seperate fuse, but all power goes through driver door. First check to see if windows roll up and down using switches on drivers side. If they work then try the passenger side. If they don't work then the problem is with the passenger side switches. IF nothing works at on using either side switches then check the wiring through the kick panel and through the door, it could be that wire has been disconnected or cut. Good Luck.

I have a lhd grand cherokee and ive lost positive feed to passenger side electric windows and folding door mirror checked fuses no fuse for electric windows

There is only one fuse for all power window and power mirror operation (Fuse 12 (50A) in under hood fuse panel). If the passenger side window and mirror functions are not working, and you have verified that there is no power going to the passenger door module (pin 1 of C1 connector), then there is a wiring issue in the harness.

1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo TSI, Passenger side windows do not work from master switch on drivers door. Both driver side windows work from master switch on drivers side. Passenger side windows do work...

It has to be the switch or the wiring, right? So pull out the switch and probe the back with a volt meter to see if power is coming out of the switch. If yes, trace the wires to the doors.

Drivers side windows and locks don't work. No

I have the same problem with my 2004 Jeep.I seen a lady last week opening her door on her cherokee to mail a letter, and asked her if her window and power locks don"t work, she said no.She said her mechanic said it was a module.I wonder if this is a faulty recall with Chrysler?

Power Window Not Working

There’s a wire harness and plug that go thru a flexible boot between the body and the front doors to control the switch clusters on the doors.
Over time opening the doors will affect these components.
  1. Check fuse # 8
  2. Make sure the plug (referenced above) is secured.
  3. Peel back the boot carefully, and check the wires.
(In my Jeep, I found the black wire broken and the light blue w/blue stripe wire cracked. I fixed them on the drivers side, and the mirrors and the locks now work. My windows are still not working, so I’m going to check the passenger side.)
Good luck!
