Question about 1988 Acura Legend
If it is a manual (stick) the is clutch moving far enough to disengage? It could need a Master or Slave or just to be bled. If it is a automatic, did you replace the torque converter? I can't imagine a shop or junk yard not providing a new one. Is the cooler (through the bottom of the radiator) blocked? You can connect the two lines together and limp around for a while. My 1988 had an inline filter on the out line. Honda doesn't believe in transmission filters, since it is so easy to drain and replace 2 quarts.
