If it is a manual (stick) the is clutch moving far enough to disengage? It could need a Master or Slave or just to be bled. If it is a automatic, did you replace the torque converter? I can't imagine a shop or junk yard not providing a new one. Is the cooler (through the bottom of the radiator) blocked? You can connect the two lines together and limp around for a while. My 1988 had an inline filter on the out line. Honda doesn't believe in transmission filters, since it is so easy to drain and replace 2 quarts.

89 acura legend v6 s3,s4 has no take off power

You can go out on a country road and listen/count the automatic transmission shift through the gears. Hondas bang when they shift so it should not be too hard. You can also watch the tachometer. Finally, try shifting using the PRNDL. If some gears have failed try having the fluid changed and add Lucas transmission additive as a last resort.

I have a 2003 Acura TL with 60,000 miles and the transmission went out on Monday, June 1, 2009. The recall in a letter June 2004 was to install an Oil Jet Kit, which the Honda/Acura headquarters says it...

these cars have major tranny issues and acura is not helpful at all,my sincere advice to you is to sell the car asap!!! i owned one for 2 yrs and paid to have the transmission fixed twice, within that 2 yrs, cost me close to $6000. i will never buy another acura again.

I will require more information on this issue. Like how do you mean it won't move. In forward as well as reverse, does it try to move, etc.

1990 acura ledgend automatic they tell me i neen a computer for my tranny

It is an ECU and should be under the passenger seat and is designed for the wiring on your car (replace with a new one of the same model exactly). The transmissions should be the same for all 1st generation legends if you did a swap. Check fluid level in N or P and use Dextron II only (Honda approved)

Tranny removal

I'm assuming that you haven't found the mystery trans. to engine bolt. Remove the rear trans. mount. Just below the trans mount is an engine to trans. bolt.
