Have you checked your O2 sensors? usually a faulty O2 sensor will trip a lean/rich code.

I have a 92 Chevy s10 starts up no problem but once it gets warmed up shuts down and won't start for several hrs. New fuel pump ignition module cap and rotor iac .codes 15 & 45 keep coming up . v6

15 is coolant temp sensor reading low temp. 45 is O2 sensor reading rich. Older GM vehicles do react to bad temp readings. I would replace it first. This can cause the rich condition for the O2 sensor.

get the OBD codes read as will be a switch/sensor causing the problem , codes will tell you which one(s)

Car may be running rich. If the car is getting normal mpg, I would not worry. The codes that indicate poor converter efficiency indicate the converter is wearing out. If that code keeps coming back, replace the converter. If it is getting poor mpg, I would look for something causing rich operation. Possibly a broken fuel pressure regulator or maybe a bad map sensor. Continued rich operation will cause the converter to fail prematurely.

My engine light was on, so i got a diagnostics done and it said the bank1 sensor 2 needed to be replaced. i Replaced the sensor but the engine light keeps coming back on after the part was replaced and...

no year. stated, sigh, nor country, sigh 2.
no DTC posted.!
post the DTC code, do not interpret it , state it. P0xxx?
flat out.
are there other codes? other stored or pending DTC codes?
there are many oxy codes, not stating the code is bad news.
each has a different reason, guessing is a fail.

btw , sensor 2 does not run the cars fuel mix. that be sensor 1.
btw, sensor 2, is rear of cat sensors.
this sensors purpose IS TO , warn of a dead CAT.

if the CAT is getting NAILED by rich fuel , the cat can be good
and the code P042x is one, that can be cause by other fueling issues. RICH. if rich (vastly) the cat can overheat. and fail that test. you need to post all facts, in my questions. first.

O4 sebring, PO175, PO174 codes?

Sounds like a problem with one of the O2 sensors.
Code 174 is bank two being too lean, and 175 is bank two being too rich. The computer tries to keep the fuel mixture switching back and forth between rich and lean. If the sensor is "lazy" the computer will make the mixture too rich or lean trying to get the sensor to react.
A mechanic can watch the sensor performance with a scanner to see what they are doing. You have two sensors on each bank.

1684 Battery has been disconnected within the past 50 starts.
P700 EATX Controller DTX present
P160 Neither rich or lean is sensed at the O2 sensor.

I am getting very rich exhaust fumes and black smoke.

I would go to one of the auto parts stores where you can use their scan tool.
You can see the data your computer uses to adjust the fuel and ignition systems.

Is the service engine light on?

Check for any codes stored in your vehicles computer.

If codes are present you can post them here and get more precise help

You may have a faulty coolant temp sensor. Mine failed and was telling the computer that the coolant was -40 F. That made for an extremely rich mixture. I couldn't even keep it running at idle.

You will be able to see what temp your sensor is reporting through the scan tool.

Also, it could be a faulty O2 sensor. My 2003 Silverado just had this and all spark plugs on drivers side were black as tar and others were normal. I changed plugs and the failed O2 sensor and all is well again.

NOTE: After correcting this richness problem you may need to change your oil. A rich mixture can allow fuel to wash through your piston rings and contaminate/dilute your oil.
