Question about 1993 Saab 9000 Hatchback
JUST BOUGHT THIS CAR, PREVIOUS OWNER SWITCHED STEREO AND PUT A CODE IN, STEREO WORKED UNTILL HE PUSHED A WRONG BUTTON, HOW DO I FIX THIS PROBLEM. THIS IS MY FIRST SAAB.
If this stereo is a clarion and original equipment and uses a a four digit code. First thing you do is with the power on to the radio, push and hold the band button for a few seconds until you see the word "code" on the radio display. Input the code and radio should work. If that doesn't work, then if you have tried to input a wrong code several times then radio will lock out. So what you need to do is
the radio has to be on for one hour uninterrupted, then you can do the band button procedure , code input again and hopefully the radio goes on. Hopefully this helps. Please advise results
