How to remove the trim panel around cd/vavigation system in 2009 Ford F-150 King ranch

ou can buy the tool at Wal-Mart for 7.00 or so. ow on those particular vehicles there may be a alarm hooked up to the radio, so DO NOT REMOVE WITH THE BATTERY HOOKED_UP!!! This is a big no-no. Buy the proper tools do NOT use a screw driver, just buy the special tool, and remove the radio, and either replace with an aftermarket, or a factory, but do so PRIOR tro hooking your radio-up failure to do so will WILL put your vehicle in FAIL SAFE / LIMP mode, and may not even start, as it will put the truck into a theft detterent mode. Do it right or not at all, because this hthe potential to cause more severe problems. After you have swapped the radio / navigation system, and are about to re-install your battery, place your key into the ignition and turn to the ON position, and then hook the battery up, and immediately start the vehicle, this will keep it from going into any "MODE". Hope this helps.

the ford dealership should have the tools you need to remove the radio at a reasonable price, also if you have the VIN they may be able to give you the code you need.

We understand that your problem is: Have a 1999 GMC safari van need the passcode so that I can change the battery etc. so I don't loose the radio etc.

sometimes is located behind radio or call dealer a neat trick i find is you can plug in a power supply in the lighter its a 9volt battery the square type with a lighter socet just like a cell phone that keeps memory during the battery switch you can ask a auto parts store or a tool salesman or even a simple garage mechanic might lend you one for now

I got a new battery for my audi a-4...now my radio wont turn on. i hear i need a code, but my radio wont even turn on for me to enter it. pep boys checked my fuses and said they are all fine...?

Yours radio has a burnt fuse in back right side of it (10A). You must extract the radio box out from dash panel in order to replace this burnt fuse. You need two special radio keys extracting tools. For Chorus and Concert AUDI radios use T10057 radio release tool:
1. Switch off all electrical equipment.
2. Remove ignition key.
3. Insert two radio release tools T10057 into slots on radio (bottom front side) until they engage.
4. Pointed ends of grips must face outwards.
5. Grasp hold of grips on radio release tool T10057 and pull radio out of dash panel.
6. Release and unplug electrical connectors at radio.
7. Press release tabs on radio and remove radio release tool T10057.
8. Replace the burnt fuse (10A) with new one.
9. Plug in all connectors.
10. Slide radio carefully into dash panel and engage it in mounting frame.

How to remove radio from 2002 mazda tribute

Hi:
You need a pair of U shaped unlocking tools. They are available at stereo installer stores, or even best buy, I fabricated a set out of a coat hanger! You pop the bezel off around the radio, and the release tools get inserted on the left and right sides of the radio deck
