Question about 1995 Honda Accord
1995 Honda Civic:
1995 Honda Civic, while driving the engine gets hot & cold? When the car comes to stop the engine temp gauge needle will go to hot, once driving needle goes back down to the middle. Oil is good, water is good with anti-frezze.
I used to have this problem too on my 95 Honda Civic EX. It would get hot then it would cool down when I stopped. I replaced the thermostat and it took care of the problem. I am not a mechanic but it was real easy to change out. I bought it at Auto Zone and they even gave instructions on how to replace it. Also don't forget to buy the new seal for it. Hope this helps.
