Question about 2000 Ford Focus
My ford taurus idles fast on start up and want idle back down
Several things can do this but most likely would be
1 TPS trottle postion sensor = replace
2 stuck butterfly valve inside the trottle body = clean out with trottle body cleaner try to get most of the black build up with a old tooth brush
3 bad trottle cable= feel the cable make sure it moves freely if not replace it
