The heater was working, then we went down the road and it stopped working, then we hit a few big bumps in the road and it was running again. at that time the blowers were making a funny noise, and its like the fans arent even running. i dont know what to do and its so cold out side!

Most of the time the fan relay is bad. You can bump the dash on the passenger side next to the glove box and sometimes that will cause the relay to close and the fan will start. You have to bump it pretty hard. The relay is behind the dash, next to the glove box.
hi, there a few things to check. is the fuse loose. or the heater motor connection loose. the trouble is the heater motor is normally in the middle of the dashboard. but sometimes if you take out the glovebox it maybe behind that. check fuse first. gerry
I say it might not be the blower motor but your on the rite track!good place to start sounds like a loose wire check under hood on passenger side to see if your blower resistor speed switch is plugged in or it might been in passenger feet area above toes in heater box! I think passenger feet area might be the spot your looking for! a v shape plug! i think you will find it no problem!hope this helps
