In tank, see link for procedure. Make sure it's pump causing problem, as other items come in to play also.

Pump is located in gas tank. Tank must be taken out to replace pump. Unhook electrical and ground connections, fuel connections and filler tube, and also may have to drop exhaust, unbolt tank straps, tank will come out. Be carefull if its full of gas, 8# a gal. can be heavy, unless you can siphen the gas out, best to have help.

Where is fuel pump located. can it be repaired at

The fuel pump is in the fuel tank.As for the cost it depends on what the labor rate is at the shop you take it to.Just cal a few of them up and ask what they charge for replacing the fuel pump and what kind of warranty they offer.Get it in writing.Hope this helps.Good luck.

Wont start. need to know how to get to fuel pump?

The fuel pump is located inside the tank. Getting to it to replace it will require the tank to be removed. The pump is generally located toward the top of the fuel tank.

I hope this is enough to get you started! :)
