In the winter my heat went to cold. The summer it was cold but it sounded like it was stuck like it couldn't come over of the holes in the dashboard.. it was working for this summer like I could feel...


Possible the fan went out. Need to take it to a garage. This is not a diy job. A/C problems is more complicated than just recharging. It requires specialty tools such as guages and vacuums to fix properly.

Dodge caravan heat fan won't work


If it is the fan/blower that is not working (as opposed to what is coming out is cold), then the problem could be 1) fuse 2) Blower Resistor. I just replaced the blower resistor in about 15 min with a $25 replacement resistor. The unit is right behind the glove box.

If the problem is that the air coming out is cold and not hot, then the thermostat, radiator, heater core, etc... are the more likley causes.

CHECK HOSES AROUND PLENTUM CHAMBER FOR PINCH OR KINK SLOWING THE FLOW OF COOLANT.

have the water pump checked out, i had a van that did the same thing and founf i had a bad water pump it fixed the problem.also check the blower motor to make sure its working right by tapping on it while you have the car running. the car will survive dont worry its going to be one of those two things im pretty sure.

try changing the thermostat if thats not it check and see if you have water leaking in the passenger side floor board if so then you need a new heater core

Delayed or intermittent heat


after checking the heater core hoses they were both hot I went in to look at the blend door and noticed it wasn't moving on hot or cold so I simply disconnected the lincage and moved to hot and its working ok. but its not completely repaired
