Squeaking belts when vehicle is first started a faint squeak begins then becomes louder as you accelerate.  Last for about 45 seconds.  I know it is the belts, but what does this mean.  I just had them replaced about 2 month's ago.

If it's not the belts, it might be your alternator. I had the same problem. I would have the belts tightened, then the problem would come back a few months later. Ended up that the alternator was bad. Replaced alternator, battery and belts and it hasn't happened since.

Probably just need to have belt tension(s) adjusted. Double check that oil, or coolant isn't dripping on them at the same time, as that will cause a squeak too.

Mazda protege makes a squeaking noise when I start driving?

If your Mazda Tribute's engine has a rumbling noise when you start it, this is most likely from the drive belt. You will need to replace it.

Buick Lesabre squeaks when idling and accelerating

You do not have a timing belt

You need a mechanic to actually listen
to & diagnose those issues

Not something one can do over the internet

I am experiencing a squeaking noise from infront near the fan belt area. when i accelerate,it gets louder. I discovered that the power steering pump is leaking ,so i topped up the reservoir and it stopped...

i have a similar problem. a squeaking noise, sounds when i start the engine, and when i stop the engine. at times it comes when the engine is running and idle, and it lasts some time like a high pitched whistle. Ive had several mechanics look at it, and it seem to be one of the smaller pulleys that the belts run around. in the 2002 model (petrol) of the crv the belts are not the cam belts, becuase this model has a cam chain (much more robust!). so they all said its nothing to worry about. you can try having your pulley replaced.

2003 Volkswagen Jetta squeaking noise!

As you probably know squeaking could be alot of things, but the most common noise, that would not effect performance, would be serpentine belts. You can buy a can of belt dressing at Autozone, that you spray on the inside, the contact side, of the belt. If it is the belt, this should help. If it's been a long time since replaced you may want to replace belt. Alot of those belts will break after being worn out, but the better quality belts may not break, but they will make a horrendous squealing noise. If it's not the belt, you'd have to have someone look at it to troubleshoot. Good luck.
