In Audi models with with light switch on the stalk with the wiper switch and turn signal switch this is a common problem. The switch is bad and needs to be replaced, you have to replace the complete assembly with the turn signal and wiper stalk

Agreed with nskyline_200 - I've replaced mine twice. You have to remove the airbag and steering wheel to do the repair, but it's not difficult. The part runs about $158 from www.ecstuning.com last I checked.

My right side headlight on my 1999 1.8t audi A4 isn't working..and Im wondering where the fuse box is?

Most likely this is not a fuse if it is just one headlight. Replace the headlight bulb and that should resolve the issue. If you have already done that start checking the wires for shorts or breaks and test the light switch itself.

Headlights and rear tail light failed simultaneously. high beams work only when manually held on. fuses and bulbs are fine.

your switch used to turn the lights on and off has failed. I had a mustang that did the same thing. Replace the switch and you should be ok.

Audi A4 2002 Low beams & Right front turn signal stopped working

For Audi A4 the fuse box is located on the left side of dashboard behind a plastic cover (for left hand steering wheel vehicle). On inner face of the plastic cover you will find the fuse diagram.
First fuse on first row from left upper corner is Fuse Nr.20 = F20 (15A) - RH headlamp low beam, headlamp adjustment.
First fuse on second row from left upper corner is Fuse Nr.21 = F21 (15A) - LH headlamp low beam, headlamp adjustment.

Your headlight switch has failed and needs replacement - this is common on the A4. Have it replaced and you'll be good to go.

No dipped beam headlights on audi a4 1,9td 2003

Check up dipped beam headlights fuse inside fuse box. For Audi A4 the fuse box is located on the left side of dashboard behind a plastic cover (for left hand steering wheel vehicle). On inner face of the plastic cover you will find the fuse diagram. If the dipped beam headlights fuse is OK, check up dipped beam headlights bulbs.

Installing headlight bulb in a 2006 Audi A4 Avant

that's generally the only way to change them... you may have to remove the battery or other obstacles to get at them.... a quarter turn or so should free the bulb. careful not to touch the bulb with your fingers as that shortens the life of them

Audi A4 "left dipped headlight" problem

AUDI A4- 2005. There is a technical service bulletin for this exact problem. take it to the dealer when this issue has happened while driving. During a daytime drive when cold see if you cant get the light to fail while circling your dealer. As soon as you pull into the service drive do not turn the car off do not flip the switch. I am an Audi Technician for a dealer in Birmingham alabama. Personally this is not my favorite repair to perform; What audi states is that if the bulb flickers the bulb should be replaced; if one side fails the bulb should be swapped left to right if the fault continues with the bulb the bulb is at fault; if the bulb is swapped and the bulb fails again on the same side it is the module. NOW: I currently am working on a 05 A4 that both bulbs both modules have been replaced and Audi has no clue what to advise on a repair. THIS IS AN ISSUE if it has happened to you ask if there is a TSB for this issue or try to find it for yourself.
