My car wont turn on!!!1Please Help!!!!!

I have a 2002 Nissan Sentra GXE 4 cylinder and a 1.8 engine. was driving my car then all of a sudden the car turned off on me. Well it didnt exactly turn off. I just wasn't able to accelerate and the wheel locked on me as if the power steering had been turned off. I would let sit for like 10 minutes then it would turn back on again and i was able to drive again like normal. i would drive for about 10 miles and the car would do the exact same thing again. So i didn't drive the car for about three days then it was working fine until it turned off again. Now the car wont even turn on like it would. Some say that its the fuel pump others say the timing chain or a sensor. Anyone please Help!!!! Thank you!! God bless

Do you have an engine light on by your speedometer? Check engine? if so bring it to autozone or equivalent they should scan it for free and they can tell exactly what is causing this. If it were a timing belt there is a sensor on distributor telling the valve timing is off so if you do not have a check engine light on you can disregard the timing belt causing the problem. if you dont know when the last time you had a tune up now would be a good time to do one. This includes all of the following spark plugs and definitly plug wires which i would goto the dealer for they have the best wires and they arent that expensive. also do cap and rotor if applicable, you might have coils im not sure. Do the fuel filter. also might want to spray alittle throttle body cleaner into the throttle body and work it in. NOT CARBURETOR CLEANER. If after you do this or you did ALL of these things and no check engine light on try this out have a friend if you can get it running step on the gas in NEUTRAL and rev at about 2000 rpms and you go feel the tailpipe pressure to see maybe that your catalytic converter is not clogging exhaust.

I'm getting trouble code p01320 on 2000 nissan

p1320 is a ignition primary signal code. you may need ignition coils. not a common issue on a 2000 sentra, but depending on milage you may need coils. unfortunatelly you dont have a specific cylinder number code stored such as p0301 which is number 1 cylinder misfire and so on in your case p0301 to p0304 because its a 4 cylinder vehicle. with the p1320 its usually the whole set of 4 coils.

try your throttle adjustments or idle control sensor. should be on throttle body. unplug and replug random connections near that area while its running and see what makes a difference. also try checking exaust for restrictions in converter. feel for poor exaust coming out of muffler with your hand

2002 nissan sentra gxe 1.8 bank2 sensor1 federal emission.Which sensor do I replace?Top/bottom,driver/pass side?

The 1.8 is a 4 cyl. engine . it has only 2 oxygen sensors . Nissan engine controll systems devides its EGO sensors into banks . Bank 1 is the upstream (top before the catylyctic converter) . Bank 2 is the downstream (after the cat. conv.) I recomend you change both for emissions reasons
