Question about 1992 Honda Civic
My 92 integra gsr keeps blowing the dash/tailight fuse keeps blowing. it has done it before but at that time i realized the guy who i had bought the car from wired the fog lights up directly to the headlights so the swithc did nothing, one of the fog light bulbs appeared ti short out and so i then dissconnected both of them. and my problem was sloved for a while. the other night i hit a bump pretty hard and the fuse blew again except for now it continuously blows it. i dont know what the pro blem could be ive checked the bulbs they appear to be good. the only thing i have noticed is that when the lights were working my reverse lights seemed to have stopped working. the bulbs are good. and im getting pretty frustrated. i have replaced the fuse a few times today. and at one point when the car was not running it seemed to be ok. the min i started the car and then turned them on. the second it hits the parking lights the fuse blows. any ideas?
It sounds like the wiring is all wrong as if its a bad earth on the car after he wired the fog lights maybe you should check and see if there is any wires hanging down underneath the bonnet that have been stripped back or see if there is and loose wires on the back of your lights or fuse board if you dont find any problems there take out the radio in the car i find that most problems to do with bad wiring or electrical problems in cars is to do with bad wiring on a radio i.e not having been installed proberly. hopes this helps

You have a short somewhere in the lighting system. have a look around where you removed the wiring for the spot lights and see if there is any wires exposed if so tape them up and check if it blows again. as far as the reverse light is concerned you may have a fulty reverse switch.
