My 1996 mitubishi eclipse 30amp ignition fuse keeps blowing while i drive, is there any way it could be the ignition switch?

it is blowing when you crank the car up or while your driving. has water gotten into the fuse box under the hood.

Sounds like a bad ground somewhere.

-   I have the same problem on my Son's 1997 non turbo Eclipse. Problem just started today. The 30 amp ignition fuse blew while he was driving down the road and when we replaced it blows as soon as you turn the key on. Looked for any obvious wires grounded or shorted but have not found anything yet. -   Guest
