Question about 2002 Jaguar X-Type
I had my front nearside tyre replaced on 2001 x-type Jag. An hour later, after starting out, the" cruise control unavailable " was displayed for a while and the the engine warning stayed on. I had the ECu reset but situation returned the following day.Does the system get pulses from that roadwheel, as I suspect that something has been disturbed or damaged?
I had the same problem and found that the PCV breather hose was leaking, creating the vacuum leak. The codes for the error have translated to "bank 1 too lean, and bank 2 too lean." Start with the PCV breather hose and see if that doesn't fix it. You will also have to reset the computer afterwards to get rid of the error.
