Have u checked the compression in this cylinder? U are throwing parts at this problem, a dealer could have given u an answer about the source of a miss in 30 minutes or so.

Are any of the plugs carbon tracked, sometimes a cracked plug won't show up as a miss unless under a load

You can't rule anything out yet. It could be a plug or injector among other things, but probably not low fuel pressure. If you have a code 300 and nothing else, you may have to wait until the problem gets bad enough to set additional codes. And if any of the sensors fail, such as the cam or crank sensors, you'll get a code for those to be tested.
Have the plugs been checked or replaced in the past 30,000 miles ?

Need help with codes 300, 301, 306 and 171

Well code 300 is a random miss, 301 is for cylinder 1 and 306 is for cylinder 6. Code 171 is saying the fuel mixture on bank one is too lean. And that could cause the other codes.
Have you checked fuel pressure and the filter ?

Engine miss

That covers just about everything. I wonder what the burn smell is -
Code 301 is for a miss on cylinder one.
You may need to have someone use a scanner to watch the sensors and try to troubleshoot it that way.

This thread basically says replace the crank position sensor and the cam position sensor. Check the wiring for the Oxy sensor(s). And if all else fails then change the PCM.

05 Impala missfire code 301 have changed

check intake for vaccum leaks, the gasket also and egr valve, thats alot of parts to have replaced without diagnosing first, if there are no fuel leaks and you said all injectors were replaced then you have a defective fuel pump, also these engines had misfire problem because of dirty injector but you replaced them so count that out. good luck.

Please check these components:
PCV valve
EGR valve

Many times these can affect a motor in the way you describe and these do not typically report errors to the computer.

Car Misses after replacing the coils and spark plugs

Has the service engine light come on? If so, have the codes pulled and it will narrow down the cylinder that is causing the problem.
If no service engine light, have you narrowed it down to one cylinder or is it random.
Let me know and we will go from there.
