The fix for this at the dealer would be to take out the whole headliner and replace the hose.
The hose above the headliner is not the whole problem, that hose also goes through the pillar posts at the front and inside the door at the rear of the van.
Because of the trouble and the cost, lots of people opt to forget it.
God bless your efforts.
P.S. If you no longer are concerned about the appearance inside your van, you could try to slit the headliner with a sharp instrument and install a repair to the hose, but no guarantee if it would work or how it would look later.
if your brake lights aren't working you need to take the car into a dealership right away to avoid getting ticketed for broken lights. Once at the dealership explain your problem and they should repair the problem in a day or two and your insurance should cover the costs. If your insurance doesn't cover the cost it won't be very expensive to repair. hope this helps!
i just recently got an actuator for 119.00. and the temp door flap for 41.00 check your actuator first to see if its really broken. after i ordered it, and my husband went to replace it, the old one actually worked. it was the heat door flap that was totally broken. and i couldnt return the actuator since it was considered a special order item. i have found that you can only get this through a dealership. compare prices first with 5-6 chevy dealerships. some are way over priced. the most expensive i had found was 156.00. 2006 torrents are really bad for this.
Remove the seat assembly turn it upside down cables come off the handle you pull on to slide seat, Follow these cables to 2 pawls that pivot on tracks and see if they are broken, bent,or just stuck and need cleaned and lubed. If you need new track slider assembly I use to be able to get them all the time from GM parts department and just replace tracks themselves.
I contacted Chrysler after my local dealership told me I would have to replace the top at the cost of 3,000. Chrysler responded to my request for assistance. They contacted my local dealership and got the price for a new top redused to 1,700 and agreed to cover 50% of the cost. my cost was 850.00. I now have a new top with a 12 mo./12,000 mi warranty. My crossfire had 10,108 mi. I hope this is helpful. wstrawder
It is a rather involved procedure requiring the removal of the headliner and all the related trim work of the interior of your car. If you have never done it before it is quite likely to cost less to take it to a dealership for repair.
the visor clip is made in 2 parts. the outer cover needs to slide straight down which releases tension of the inner clip which is wedged in by the outer cover.
There is a little plastic cover that hides two mounting screws where the arm goes into the headliner. Pop that cover off and remove the screws. Pull the arm down until you can see the wires that run through the are. Make sure the connector is still connected and look to see if the wires are broken. If not, the wires could be broken in the sunvisor.
