Temp gets hotter if car idles for more than a minute
I have a 95 honda accord. When i sit at a light or go through a drivethrough my car temp gauge go up, I get scared and just turn off the car sometimes. Is my car overheating because when I go again the temp drops back down...Is this normal because my car is older

Check coolant level, and possibly replace thermostat. When a thermostat gets stuck in the closed position, coolant does not circulate thru motor. Gauge stays midrange when driving, because motor is being cooled by air and or the fan. If car seems to operate completely normal, then the gauge is faulty.
This sounds like a bad ground but first check the fuse for the instruments located in the fuse box. If that is OK, somone will have to find the ground wire for the instruments and see if it has any voltage with the key on. If it does, the gound connection is bad
DTC - 15 Engine coolant temp sensor error (low temp indicated)
This is an Diagnostic Trouble code using the OB1 which simply means the check engine light blinking in series at certain intervals. But my thinking says that if you are having trouble wuth any sensor , the ECU or PCU computer will read all kinds of things in error. Try replacing the TCS temperature control sensor.Only 96 and up have a OB2 Diagnostic system
Hondas are famous for this, my accord does it. This is normal UNLESS it still idles high after normal running temp. has occured. Watch your temp. gauge when it reaches normal temp tap the gas a little bit if the idle drops then it is fine
